ALBUM DESIGN: THE ODDS​​

 

This is an album cover I designed for Sue Newberry & the Law. "The Odds" was a very fun project to work on. I had already worked with them on their previous album "Shine, Shine, Shine, Shine". This included the album cover, back, CD face, and interior of the album.

It can be a little tricky fitting in the legal copy on the back, but I've had ample experience with that. The band had received a few grants as well, which came with very specific size requirements for the logos on the back, but it all worked out fine.

The client really wanted a nautical, old timey feel.  The map is the Carta Marina, the first map of the Nordic countries created in 1539.
